Vijana kwa Vijana Initiative is a non-profit, non-political community based organization that aims to empower youth in a way they never thought possible. Our philosophy has always been to provide opportunities for young people by teaching them skills and life lessons which will help them in the future. We are blessed with bright, dedicated youths who strive to improve their lives and their communities. As providing opportunity isn't enough, we have teamed up with other organizations to advocate for policy changes that support community development and youth empowerment in Kenya.

We believe there is a need for a global approach to uphold human rights, promote equal opportunities, transform and create sustainable communities among marginalized communities. Hence Vijana kwa Vijana Initiative strives to create educational opportunities throughout this journey.

The message of our organisation is enabling youth to participate in shaping their futures through community initiatives that facilitate learning, social cohesion and wealth creation from spaces where they currently reside or lack access to public and/or mainstream support services.

Our program has transformed communities by increasing stability for all members, improving the quality of learning environment for all students; and investing in stronger citizens who will have positive consequences on the country's socio-economic development

The CBO is established for the purposes of acting in the overall interests of the Community with respect to:

Promote social economic programs
Promote talents and self development programs
Advocate for youth inclusivity in policy making
Promote computer literacy for sustainable development
Organise youth mentorship programs, empowerment conferences and workshops.
To do all that is necessary, suitable and proper for the accomplishment of the purposes or the furtherance of the objectives set forth, either alone or in association with other organizations, firms, corporations or individuals and to do any other act of or connected with the objectives or purposes or any part or parts thereof provided the same is not inconsistent with the Laws, Rules and Regulations under which the organization is registered.
